# Smart Sleep

The smart sleep working mode of the Fencyboy improves power consumption significantly and is enabled by default. It can be disables in the [Config](/technical-documentation/config.md) by sending a downlink command for debugging purposes (see [Downlinks](/features/downlinks.md)).
